I'm calling this "Moose," but don't confuse it with "The Loose Moose." This Moose is Libera's mascot who travels the world with them and often shows up on stage with them.
Libera made a video where Alex, Sam, and Alessandro introduce us to Moose's American cousins.
Alessandro: Hi. I'm Alessandro.
Sam: I'm Sam.
Alex: And I'm Alex.
All: And we're called Libera.
Alessandro: Good morning. This is Moose. He's the most traveled moose in the world. Here are his US cousins. Hello and hello.
Sam: If you become a Friend of "Libera of the United States,"you can get one of these Mooses.
Alex: Moose is going to be with us at the concert in Washington on the 7th of August.
Sam: That's all from us for now.
All: Bye!
If you donate at www.libera.org, you can get a Moose, too! If you get a Moose, please send me a picture at LBooth311@aol.com. Here's mine -

Songs of Praise WWI Preview Video
As I posted before, Libera will be on the "Songs of Praise" TV show in the UK this Sunday, August 3 at 4:25 pm on BBC Two. BBC has a short preview of the show.
Next week, Bill visits St. George's Memorial Church in Ypres, Belgium to commemorate the outbreak of the First World War a hundred years ago. Classical chart-toppers, Libera, sing against the backdrop of the battlefields and uncover some of their own families' war stories.
Libera also posted about this -
"As part of the BBC commemoration of the centenary of World War 1, Libera travelled to France and Belgium in May to film a special 'Songs of Praise' programme for transmission on Sunday 3rd August at 4 25pm on BBC2.
The programme makers researched the history of some of the boys' families, and discovered that many of them had ancestors who had fought in the conflict.
The boys located the memorials to their relatives who died in the war - some had marked graves, others had no known grave but had their names carved into the Thiepval monument which contains over 72,000 inscriptions.
They also visited Ypres and Sanctuary Wood to film performances of Libera songs."
Yes, you read that correctly! Libera SONGS! As in more than one. :D Hope someone in the UK records the show and posts it for all of us to see! Thank you to Jimmy Riddle for posting the preview video above.

Libera Filming a New DVD in Washington, DC!!
UPDATED July 2, 6 & 21, 2014
Seats are filling up fast! Restricted view seats have been added!
The start time has been changed to 7:30 pm.
Exciting news, Libera fans!!! Libera will be coming to the USA to film another DVD!!! They say on their web site that they will film it at a free concert at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC on August 7, and it will be used by American PBS stations for their pledge drives. The great thing is that we fans all over the world can get the DVD also. =) I'm hoping they sing a lot of the songs from the Spring 2014 Tour, so we can all hear them. Will there be new songs? Will there be any little newbie choristers? And, oh my goodness, that church is so beautiful! It's the 8th largest church building in the world!
They also say to "look out for other Libera performances in the US this summer." Don't you wish they would come to your town?!

Big Announcement for Libera Fundraiser!
Calling All Angels and Mooses!
Libera of the US is a new charity formed to help raise money and awareness for Libera. We just got a message from the trustees of Libera of the US about a big Libera fundraiser that you can read here.
Basically, Libera is coming to Washington, DC to film a new DVD. Yay for us fans! The cost to bring all the boys and staff to the US and to produce the DVD totals $429,000! Wow! I did not realize it costs that much! It costs $3,743 just for each boy to travel.
So Libera is asking for donations big or small. Anyone can donate, no matter where in the world you live. Just go to http://Libera.org, click on the "Contribute" button, fill in your information, set up a PayPal account, and make a donation from your bank account or credit card.
If you donate at least $50 ($60 if you live outside the US to help cover the shipping costs), you can get a Libera Moose! The Libera boys each got a Moose when they sang at the Kennedy Center benefit last month in London!
As your donation gets larger, you get more gifts and benefits!
Here's the very first Moose spotted! 2 Moose traveled all the way to Australia to a fan named Hannah! Moose has a bandana around his neck that has a fancy drawing of a Libera "L" and 3 choir boys.
2 Moose getting some sun in Australia!
Let me know if you get a Moose, too! Or a Libera bag! I want to see what the Libera bag looks like! :D
Here's the donation levels written out if you need to use a translator.

Libera Promo Video for Washington, DC Concert
Libera posted the cutest video of Ben, Ciaran, and Alessandro inviting us to the DVD filming in Washington, DC! They nicely say all their lines, as all good Libera boys try to do. But watch their faces. First Alessandro is trying not to crack up as the others say their lines. Then watch Ben when they point to the web site. Just one cool move. lol. Ben's last line is hilarious! And then he just walks away as Ciaran and Alessandro crack up again.
Alessandro - I'm Alessandro.
Ciaran - I'm Ciaran.

Alessandro - We are really looking forward to coming back to the United States in the Summer.
