Loose Moose Spring 2014 Message

I am so behind on my Loose Moose postings! But I only have 3 more weeks of school and then SUMMER! (Well, I'm taking online classes in the summer, but we won't talk about that.)

Anyway, we have a short Loose Moose video, complete with green monster hands, informing us of the following...

The nature of The Loose Moose Show is changing!

From now on shorter, more intense skits and sketches (and who knows what else) will be released with irregular intervals.

This is due to the general increase in busyness and geographical distance between LMS members.
(Love the Little Miss Busy book + globe = decreasing productivity!) =D

Don't worry though! The bonds of love between us are still strong. <3

We look forwards to showing you new material (although that may not be for awhile). Thanks for watching and please keep sharing and subscribing.

So maybe I'll have time to get caught up on my LMS postings. Hope the boys have a great summer and post more as soon as they can.

Loose Moose Is Back ~ Episode 3, Part 1!!!

Guess who's back?!?!?! Ok, yes, I am...but that's not what I mean. lol. The boys are back! Our favorite Loose Moose are back in an all new Episode 3 (Part 1) of their awesome and seriously random web show!

First, I need to give a blip to the trailer, cuz I'm impressed with the way they fit all the clips together. The music is great, the clips they chose make you excited, but don't give away too much, and the random clips of them together are hilarious! Whoever put this one together needs to do trailers for some movies, because this is better than a lot that I've seen.

Moving on to Part 1!!

We open with a "Love ya" sketch with Alex and Jonathan. Alex's voice is hilarious! (I may or may not be saying "Aww thank ya Mr. Kind Sir" to anyone that helps me now.) Still trying to figure out if that's a toy gun..."Don't worry bout that." I think it is lol. And Jonathan's face at the end is priceless!

Then we segue into our theme song and credits which is hilarious as always. :)

lol I just love them at the beginning of this scene; all sitting on the couch giving Liam a hard time about his joke/story idea...

Liam: And...then the elephant...lost his shoes! ehehe!
Sam: Elephants don't wear shoes.
Liam: The antelope ran off with the cheetah...
Sam: That's not even relatable...
Josh: Like the cat ran away with the spoon...

And then the unveiling of our mystery guest! (And some great faces from Alex!) I would like to hear in the comments from anyone who didn't think it would be Ben though. Really. He's always been the one people are missing in these shows...and I don't think he disappoints. Although he is definitely crazy! lol. I'm just laughing at Liam in the scene in the entry hall. It's pretty obvious that Ben is cracking him up. :) And...as soon as Ben enters...we lock him in the shed. Next scene! lol

This may be one of my favorite sketches yet. Mostly because I need, and know some people who need this app. And Jonathan's infomercial voice is awesome. This app can be used in many ways. Too much of a tiny bite of food in your mouth to answer that question at a dinner party? Demumblizer! Paramedic in a crossing guard vest happens to walk by while eating an apple and can't talk clearly to help the person stuck under a car? Demumblizer! Can't figure out what the robber is saying so you can give him what he wants? (which is, consequently, all four of your phones, your wallet, and keys) Demumblizer! (A moment to appreciate Sam's Eastern European accent...) Old grandpa dying and you can't tell what his last wish is? Hint: He wants to squeak on a blow-up saxophone... Demumblizer! (Also, I'm pretty sure this whole sketch was based around wanting to use that blow-up saxophone.) Demumblizer is coming out soon! Only from Apul. With two bites out of it. :)

Back to crazy Ben!!! Still stuck in the shed...but now plotting...and...licking pictures of cameras. Oh Ben... Can't say he's not a great actor though. Ten bucks says he tries to burn down the shed in the next one lol. Can't wait for part 2 to see what happens! Great job guys! :D

Loose Moose Episode 2: Part 1

So...I know we're a little behind here but Loose Moose Episode 2 is out! :) So here's my review of part 1! If you haven't seen it yet then you must watch! :D

First up is "Gang Signs." It's a local gang lookin' all tough, hangin' out at a park. The accents are awesome but a lot harder for me to understand than their usual British accents. Here are some of the random words we heard in their "rap": boy, rough, gang, gardens, knives, hoodies (I heard hideous), shoes, Diet Coke, potatoes, iPods, elephants, fish fingers, apples, Coke cans, shopping. Yeah, this is quite the rap...lol.

Now coming from a musical school this sketch is my favorite. It consists of Josh - or "Fab (Fav?) (Blad?)" as they call him - listening to some music. But this is not just any music. Oh no, this music was written by the amazing "Beeth-oven." Love their reactions when they're talking about where they've heard him before. The best is the end when they ask when his next album is coming out. :)

Best lines:
Alex: What is up?! What is down?! What is up?!
Alex again: Not too shabby, not too shabby, not too bad!
Josh: This guy single-handedly revolutionized the Baroque period into the Classical!
Josh: Drum and bass? This guy's got the viola, figured bass!
Liam: FIGURED BASS! OH YEAH!!!
All: Beeth-ov-en! Yeah!  Josh: IT'S BEETHOVEN!!!!

Next is "Agent Cody Banks." OK, the best part about this sketch was Jonathan's American accent! It was actually really good! lol. Loose Moose always has the best music, too! Gotta love those spy movies. He's on "Mission Rabbit's Foot" trying to achieve vengeance for America. If only he can shake off those d*** Russian spies! (Keeping it rated G here! lol)

Alex, Liam and Josh look like three little prairie dogs sticking their heads up out of the ground! lol! Love them looking back and forth really fast! They're hiding behind the branch (which I actually didn't see coming) or the time lapse of them all getting out of the garbage can is great.

But acting backwards to pull off jumping up into a tree?!! Epic! :D

And Mission Rabbit's Foot? Well...at least he got the bad guy in the end...uh...oh wait...he just got Sam! In a fedora! :) Oh well, it was for AMERICA! (Pronounced just the way we say it! lol!)

The final sketch, "Andrew-Dora Taylor Cookery Nookery," was just the best! Did you see it's sponsored by the Heavy Breathers Society?! :D Jonathan is hilarious! With his little "Ooohh!" whenever the camera would come around! And his always calling everything "naughty" was just awesome! And he named all his plants! Actually everything he said was funny just because of that voice! :D

Liam was awesome as Pablo. The "HELP" sign on the guitar was hysterical! Made me die laughing!

I'm pretty sure the one egg was all Jonathan's mom was going to let him use... :) And the bit with the alchohol is actually something I've seen them do on cooking shows before. That little "this is not for the cooking, it's for me later," thing. When everything is done cooking he pulls something out of the oven. Thanks to Google, I figured out that's a container of yogurt with fruit! :D I loved how the whole thing was a perfect spoof on those cooking/gardening shows! And "Andrew-Dora Taylor's book is now available outside half-decent bookstores." lol

Keep up the great work, guys! Will try to review Part 2 soon!

So please follow their new channel. It still has all their old videos on it. And remember, their newest video is due in the Spring, which is any day now! :)

Loose Moose Episode 2 Trailer

The Loose Moose Show has given us an excellent teaser to Episode 2 due out in "Spring 2012." In Chicago, that would be April. Hope it's sooner than that.

Just the way this trailer starts out with the earth spinning is cool! I love the iMovie program they used to make this! The whole thing looks like it's for an action movie. :D

I'm cracking up from the opening clip of them all in their double hoodies looking "gangster" against the wall! lol!

You have seen comedy...

What on earth is the clip with Jonathan hacking at the plant?! There's an orange tied to the vine (that obviously isn't suppposed to be there) and some random doll carriage tied up by a string! Our best guess is that he's doing a skit making fun of the cooking/gardening shows on TV. The clip later on with him in a chef's hat is some evidence to that. Maybe he's harvesting his own cooking ingredients.

And Liam holding the guitar with the word HELP on the back while candles burn in front of him? What on the earth?! lol

But you will never see comedy like this.

The next two clips...I have no idea. Jonathan in a masquerade mask and chef's hat (which we later see says "Thank you from 'Epic' Chefs") and then running awkwardly down a hill while someone reads a newspaper nearby? I don't even have a guess.

This spring...

Josh with the eye patch and magnifying glass for the other eye is hysterical!

Loose Moose brings you...

Jonathan has quite the mischievous smile in that chef's hat. :) And we catch our only glimpse of Sam.

An entirely new episode...

What?! Josh with some little girl's pink backpack on and an apron and a wig hiking toward a trampoline in someone's backyard. Can't wait for this one!

With a new slant on comedy.

Back-pack-and-wig-Josh, more cooking, and then the four of them arguing about some piece of "art" that Josh is holding. Is it a clue? Are they thieves?

And then a clip of them breaking a branch off of a tree!!! That's gotta hurt! I don't think that was supposed to happen. lol Love how Jonathan keeps hanging on longer than Josh and Alex. :)

Can't wait, boys! This is going to be great! Hope the release date is soon! Will you be walking the red carpet for the premier? :D

The Loose Moose Show Outtakes

There is one thing that is sure to happen in any video that you make with you friends, and that is OUTTAKES!!! This happens in part because...well...you're doing it with your friends, so you're having a great time! As I said before, I'm impressed that they did a whole half-hour show! Each clip takes so long to do because of bloopers like these!

OK, so...it has officially been revealed who the two worst people to put together are. Alex and Josh! They apparently crack each other up waaaayyy too much! My best friend and I are like this. And the more you laugh in the first take, the more you laugh in the second take, because you start thinking about how funny the first take was...and yeah...it's all downhill from there. :)

I love the faces Josh starts making near the end when he's trying not to laugh.

The "Dressing incompetence" part is hysterical! I love how Josh fails to get the coat on Alex and then just kinda walks away WITH THE COAT like he totally didn't just do that. :)

We move on to "Snooker incompetence" where the boys show off their mad snooker skills. lol For "Speaking incompetence" apparently Liam was making faces at Jonathan or something. I love him yelling off to the side at Liam, and then later yelling at all of them for laughing whenever he would mess up.

The random pizza guy outtakes are lol funny! How could you not crack up when you open the shower curtain and see Alex's face with that wig and hat getting a "drinky?"

Awesome pink flowered cup!

Does anyone else think that parts of these skits were ad-libbed? I think they had the basic plot down, but those lines just seemed to flow off the tops of their heads. When another character makes up something new and you find it funny, it's hard to keep a straight face.

Oh, the cars in the audio, that part was great! There's always those unforeseen things that happen, and you're like, come on, that would have been a great take! Mine usually involve kittens walking into the shot or knocking over the camera. lol.

The world's loudest scooter!

"Alex's sense of pulse" or just basic rhythm. May I suggest joining the percussion section of band? lol. And can I digress by noticing the added randomness of a doughnut maker in his room? And I think there's a little robot man by his bed post. lol.

Josh and Liam are apparently also a bad combo. The two of them just make each other laugh. I love how with each take it takes less and less time for Josh to start laughing. I am exactly like this! I'm always the one to laugh! :D

Didn't take too long to start laughing.

A little sooner...

Wait for it...

Can't even get the door open. :D

The awkwardly long time Liam takes to fill the teacup is AWESOME! That part made me laugh so hard!

And I'm starting to notice a pattern. Who is the funniest one? You'd think that everyone else would be laughing AT Josh dressed as Mrs. Albert Smith. But HE'S the one always laughing! In most of these outtakes! Silly guy! :D

I love watching Liam's puzzled face the second time Josh starts in on his "how did you find it" answer! I also love how Josh was totally improvising the whole thing. :)

Wait...what?! There's iron bars there? :D

I feel as though I must give credit to whoever made the little animated ending! I love it!!! Great job, guys!
