Libera Is Going to South Korea!

*UPDATED June 17, 2015*

Libera wrote on their web site today,

"With great sadness, Libera and Seoul Arts Management have to announce that due to the MERS situation in Korea, we have decided to postpone our Korean Tour.

Please visit our websites again for details of the new concerts which will take place in the Spring of 2016.  All ticket holders will receive a full refund automatically through the credit cards used in the purchases.  Thank you for your understanding.

Libera wish our friends in Korea all the best for a quick resolution of the MERS situation and thank the many people who had bought tickets already."

This is so sad. Hope everyone in South Korea stays safe and healthy. I know they look forward to Libera visiting in the Spring.

Congratulations to South Korea! It appears that Libera will be performing 2 concerts in South Korea this summer! Don't buy your airplane and train tickets just yet. The announcement has not been officially made by Libera UK, but Seoul Arts Management, who handled their last South Korea tour, has announced it here. Tickets are not yet available.

San Antonio Concert

San Antonio concert program cover

Libera's second concert on their Spring 2015 Tour was in beautiful San Antonio, Texas! The song list and soloists were the same as for the Boston concert. The other news is that Lucas had to stay home due to illness. We miss him on the tour and hope he is feeling better already.

My mom's friend lives in San Antonio and got to go to the concert with another friend. She had never heard of Libera before and said the concert was so amazing that she got a CD! She said the Meet & Greet line was super fun, and Libera has 2 new fans!

Now on to the really great pictures! :D

Tobin Center ~ photo by Kent

The Tobin Center looks beautiful inside. There were a lot of people there.

The M&G was in a separate room. The line reminds me of Korea where it was so long it went around the corner, up the stairs, and around the corner again!

Pictures of all the boys!

Ciaran Bradbury-Hickey, Isaac London

Alessandro Mackinnon-Botti, Ben Bywater, James Menezes

Matthew Madine, Merlin Brouwer
Rocco Tesei, Alex Gula

Sam Wiggin, Gabriel Collins

Mark Ustynovych-Repa, Shay Balsekar

Joe Walshe, Adam Izghouti

Cassius O'Connell-White, Taichi Shinokubo, Matthew Jansen

Marc Alvares, Tom Delgado-Little

The boys also signed a huge poster for the Tobin Center to keep!

Congratulations to Libera on a great concert!

More Boston Pictures

Libera performed in Boston last night, and it was a great start to the tour. While the boys make their way to San Antonio, here are some more beautiful pictures of the Boston concert posted by the Wilbur Theater on their Facebook page. I especially love the ones taken from the balcony so you can see where the orchestra members were placed. :D
