Lullabye Video...WOW
NEW VIDEO ALERT!!!!!!! Finally! I'm glad Libera put this video out themselves before someone else bought it on November 1 and stuck it on YouTube. We've been guessing about this song so much...it's JOSH!!!!! Amazing! His voice is so clear and perfect and...just WOW. I'm speechless. Literally. The story is so moving too! I love how it has a clear story. Our Libera boys did turn out to be amazing actors. Is it just me or does it look a little like "Ben's Day" at 2:18? My mommy cried. :') Such a great video guys!!!!! Keep them coming! Josh... <3 Wow.

Hi, it's Leslie from Canada. I was quite emotional watching the video, too, because of the storyline. My own father was 17, a year older than Josh will soon be at the end of October, when he enlisted in the Canadian army during the Second World War.
ReplyDeleteHi, Leslie! If your dad is still alive, please thank him for his service. They were all so brave. Was he in Europe or the Pacific? My grandpa was in Europe.
ReplyDeleteHello, it's Leslie again. To Lexi and Lauren, thank you for your kind comment. Regretfully, both of my parents passed on earlier in this decade, but my dad was a proud Canadian veteran who served with the North Nova Scotia Highlanders in Europe. I hope that in real life, none of the boys of Libera will ever have to put on a uniform and take up arms. I can only imagine what might have been going through the minds of Josh and Ben's parents, especially their mothers, if they had seen the video.
ReplyDeleteI'm soo thankful Libera put this video up! I've watched it well over 200 times, and I've cryed pretty much nonstop for the past 2 days because of it.. It's so amazing, and the story behind it is just... wow.
ReplyDeleteI have a question, do you think that this might be Josh's last song with Libera, and he might be saying goodbye to everyone? I kinda have this feeling that that's the case, but I hope it's not. I don't think I will ever be able to get over it when he does have to leave.
Thanks for this awesome site!

Hi, Rebecca! Yes, this video is AMAZING! As far as the song goes, I think that it was recorded at the same time that the other Peace songs were being recorded like Time and Faithful Heart. This would probably account for Josh's voice being so high. I do think that it very well may be Josh's last solo, since his voice has definitely been changing, but I don't think it means he is out of Libera. There is a video of the Atlanta concert where someone asks Josh if he will be coming back to sing with Libera. He says that he will be back, and Liam adds "I won't be going anywhere. I'm staying right here." So I do think that he will keep singing harmony for a while longer. He'll probably be at the UK concerts, and the US in the spring. I'll have a hard time when he leaves too...but don't be sad, because there is a certain Matthew Madine that just joined. ;)
ReplyDeleteOh thank goodness!! Thank you so much for telling me that, I can go out of panic mode :D
ReplyDeleteI'm really hoping he'll still be here for my first Libera concert this spring!! Oh yes, I'm sure Matthew will be just as amazing as Josh :)
wow! i'm so amazed at josh when i watch this video. thx for posting the video, lexi
ReplyDeleteDoes anyone know the woman is in the Lullaby video?
ReplyDeleteHi, Scott! The Peace Deluxe jacket says that the School Matron is played by Kassie Deakin Bowers and that it was filmed at Dorset House School, Bury, Sussex.
